Mayor's Youth Council

Greencastle Mayor's Youth Council

The Role of the Mayor's Youth Council:

To serve as a voice for the City's youth, and to advise the Mayor on issues important to young people.

The City of Greencastle is proud to have the Mayor's Youth Council, a group of dedicated students from Greencastle High School. This council, comprised of students in grades 9 through 12, serves as a vital link between the city's youth and local government.

The Mayor's Youth Council gives young people a voice in community affairs and provides them with hands-on experience in leadership and civic engagement. These students work alongside city officials to identify and address issues important to their peers and the community as a whole.
