Welcome to the City of Greencastle Utility Office

The City of Greencastle Municipal Utility Office is open 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday, closed on weekends and holidays. Utility bills can be paid by mail, in person, drive thru window or drop box. Automatic draft payments are also available. First time customers are required to come in the office to fill out an application and make a deposit of $175.00 for water, sewer and trash. Renters are also required to have an owners’ approval form signed by the property owner and notarized. Trash and re-cycling information can be obtained in the Utility Office.

If you are renting your place of residence, please have your landlord complete the Landlord/Property Owner Approval of Establishment of Utility Service form found HERE. Please bring this completed document when you apply for service.

Please complete the Business Application for Water & Sewer Service found HERE and return the application to the Utility Office at city hall along with your deposit. If you are leasing your place of business, please have your landlord complete the Landlord/Property Owner Approval of Establishment of Utility Service form found HERE. Please bring this completed document when you apply for service.

Report a Water Leak

To report a water leak, call the Utility Office at 765-653-2638. After hours and on weekends, please call 765-653-5812 and leave a message. If the leak is confirmed, the city has to call in for utility locates prior to any excavation work starting. Do not be alarmed if work does not begin immediately after your call.
