West Central Solid Waste has created 4 drop off sites, in and around Putnam Co. for residents to bring their trees to be recycled. Recycling your live tree has many wonderful benefits! Recycling your tree prevents it from piling up in a landfill, helps provide habitat areas for fish and wildlife, aids in erosion control, and provides beneficial mulch for gardens and trees!! The 4 drop-off sites are as follows:
Greencastle Yard Waste Site: 2363 S. Co. Rd. 250 W.
Lieber State Park Recreation Area: 1317 W. Lieber Rd., Ste. 1, Cloverdale
Raccoon Lake State Recreation Area: 1588 S. Raccoon Pkwy, Rockville
Rockville Lake Park: 828 N. Marshall Rd., Rockville
